Overview: The Digital Marketing Coordinator supports the Marketing team across a wide range of digital, brand, and content-driven initiatives. This role is responsible for overseeing content collection and syndication across retailer Platforms through Syndigo, leading social media & influencer efforts for select brands, and supporting Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) channels including, but not limited to email, SMS, blog content, and creative website content strategy.
The Digital Marketing Coordinator partners cross-functionally with internal teams, external agencies, and brand partners to ensure brand consistency, enhance product visibility, and support performance-driven marketing initiatives.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: (Includes the following, other duties may be assigned)
Primary Responsibilities:Product Content Management - Serve as the primary point of contact for Syndigo inputs, maintenance, and enhanced content creation, ensuring accurate and optimized product information for application across retailer platforms
- Manage and update product attributes, descriptions, images, rich media, and enhanced content to ensure accuracy, completeness and optimization in Syndigo to support brand visibility and conversion
- Support copywriting, claims development and content development for owned and licensed brands, ensuring alignment with brand voice and consistency in messaging standards across all touchpoints
Sampling & Reviews - Lead BazaarVoice Sampling Campaigns, including campaign setup, sample coordination, communication tracking, and performance reporting
Social Media & Influencer Leadership - Support social media strategy and execution for select internal brand accounts, including Protect-a-Bed
- Assist with content creation, scheduling, community engagement, and performance monitoring across r LinkedIn and other applicable social channels
- Maintain a structured social media calendar and ensure all content aligns with brand voice, messaging, and visual standards
- Coordinate fulfillment for DTC social media giveaway winners
- Support influencer initiatives by assisting with influencer vetting, product selection, and review and approval of creative assets
Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) Content & Communications - Support DTC email marketing efforts, including topic ideation, copywriting & imagery, testing/proofreading, programming/scheduling emails, and coordinating with creative team
- Manage DTC blog content, including bi-weekly topic development, copywriting, SEO-aligned content, creative needs, and publication
- Assist with DTC website content updates by supporting content calendar management and ensuring a regular cadence of site refreshes
Creative & Agency Support - Assist with external DTC agency relationship management, including coordination, asset delivery, timelines, and review/approval of creative materials with meticulous detail and precision
- Prepare details project briefts for internal creative teams, including scope, timeline, and deliverables
Analytics & Reporting - Assist in compiling monthly reporting related to advertising, social, influencer, and content performance/ KPIs
- Monitor performance trends and provide strategic recommendations aimed at improving content effectiveness, engagement, and performance/KPIs across all platforms

Minimum Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree (or currently pursuing a degree) in Marketing, Business, Communications, Journalism, English, or related field
- 0-2 years of relevant experience, including internships, co-ops, or academic projects in marketing, digital content, eCommerce, or social media
- Entry-level role with training and mentorship provided; strong interest in marketing and willingness to learn are essential
- Strong writing, editing, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to adapt tone and messaging across brands and platforms
- Prior experience in marketing, social media, eCommerce, or digital content development preferred
- Working knowledge of major social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok) and best practices for brand engagement
- Familiarity with content syndication tools (e.g., Syndigo), review/sampling platforms (e.g., BazaarVoice), and project management tools (e.g., Asana) is a plus
- Experience with email marketing tools, CMS platforms, and blog management systems is preferred
- Understanding of analytics tools (Google Analytics, Meta Business Suite, Shopify Analytics, etc.) and in-depth KPI reporting and analysis
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment with excellent organizational, time-management skills and be meticulously detail oriented
