About the Role :

The Staff Accountant will play a key role in supporting day-to-day accounting operations, financial reporting, and month-end close. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to grow within a fast-paced, team-oriented environment while gaining exposure to multiple areas of corporate accounting.

Key Responsibilities :

Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and maintain the general ledger

Assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes

Perform daily bank reconciliations and record cash activity

Prepare and file multi-state sales tax returns

Maintain detailed inventory schedules and assist with related reconciliations

Support AP and AR functions as needed

Assist with audits by providing necessary documentation and schedules

Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal accounting controls

Contribute to ongoing process improvements and special projects as assigned

Qualifications :

Bachelor's degree in Accounting required

2-3 years of accounting experience (public accounting or internship experience a plus)

Strong understanding of GAAP and core accounting principles

Proficient in Microsoft Excel; experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 a plus

Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills

High attention to detail and ability to work independently in a fast-paced setting
