Job descriptionWork in a hospital nuclear medicine department as well as outpatient locations Responsibilities include general nuclear medicine, cardiac imaging, and potential PET / CT coverage All staff rotate to provide coverage as needed, including call and offsite locations Day shift with 8.5-hour shifts from 8 : 00 AM to 4 : 31 PM Call rotation includes Monday through Friday evenings and 12-hour day shifts on weekends and holidays Floating required between hospital in Paramus and outpatient department in Ridgewood May be required to cover PET / CT studies in offsite outpatient locations Coverage is provided on rotational basis for call, weekends, and holidays Orientation includes both billable and non-billable module completion, with ongoing annual modules by specialty First-time travelers are accepted unless they have worked as permanent employees within the past seven years Lab work must be initiated within two business days of acceptance to maintain assignment eligibility Current NJ or Compact license in hand, if applicable Proven general nuclear medicine and cardiac imaging experience Experience with attenuation correction CT is a plus Proof of full COVID vaccination series and booster required One supervisory or manager reference from within the past year required for consideration Must complete EKG / medication test prior to start if required for specialty Prior permanent employees are not eligible for travel assignments Local candidates permitted at a lower rate within a 75-mile radius High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts
