Estimated Weekly Pay Weekly Pay Range : $1680–$1800 per week Med / Surg Tele RN Job Details Location : Cincinnati, OH 45255 (Ohio nursing jobs) Assignment Type : Travel Registered Nurse (RN) Unit : Med / Surg Telemetry (Unit C5, 30 beds) Shift : 12-hour night shifts Hours per Week : 36 Assignment Duration : 13 weeks (Start : 11 / 3 / 2025, End : 1 / 31 / 2026) Support Staff : Patient Care Technicians (PCTs), Health Unit Coordinators (HUC) Registered Nurse Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Ohio or compact state (required) Minimum 1 year of recent Med / Surg Tele RN experience (required) Strong orthopedic nursing background (required) BLS certification (required) ACLS and NIH Stroke Certification (preferred) Ability to pass a dysrhythmia exam (study guide provided) Experience with wound vacs, JP drains, colostomies, nephrostomy tubes, NG tubes, rectal tubes, suprapubic catheters, G-tubes, J-tubes, and central lines Familiarity with oxygen modalities : nasal cannula, high flow, BiPAP, non-rebreather, venturi mask, face mask, capnography with PCAs Med / Surg Tele RN Responsibilities Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans Administer medications and treatments in accordance with nursing standards and facility policies Coordinate patient care with interdisciplinary healthcare teams and serve as a liaison for families Manage patients with multi-system organ failure and multisystem trauma Monitor and manage various lines, drains, and advanced respiratory modalities Promote patient safety and participate in quality improvement initiatives Educate patients and families throughout the care continuum Demonstrate professionalism, cultural competence, and resilience in a fast-paced clinical environment Ready to take your nursing career to the next level?
