Ryder is hiring a CDL A Regional Reefer Driver i n Hanover, MD. Ryder regional driver can anticipate quality home time with family and friends while usually being home through the week and / or on weekends or a combination of both. A regional truck driving job typically consists of moving freight within a region that encompasses the surrounding areas. Compensation :

  • Average Weekly Pay : $2,100

Solo Miles Pay : 72 CPM with 2300miles per week

  • Solo Stops Pay : $36.05per stop with 8stops per week
  • Per Diem Pay : $51.50 per night
  • Drop and Hook Pay : $15.45 per Drop / Hook

    • Home Time, Route & Schedule :

  • Home Time : Home weekly
  • Schedule : Monday Saturday
  • Start Time : 3 : 00 AM - 5 : 00 AM Dispatch
  • Route : All States East of Texas to Nebraska
  • Freight : Touch Food- Restaurants & Stores

    • Equipment : Electric Pallet Jack, Lift Gate & Hand Truck

    Equipment :

  • Trucks are 36 months or newer
  • Sleepers with APUs orDay Cabs
  • Trailer Type : Reefer orFlatbed 28, 36', 53
  • Equipment : pallet jack
  • 24 / 7 Roadside Maintenance and Company Drivers fuel up the trucks at over 800 Maintenance Facilities Nationwide

    • Qualifications

  • Must have a valid CDL A License
  • Minimum 21 years of age
  • Must have Class A verifiable experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle

    • 9 months experience within the past 3 years, OR

  • 2 years experience within the last 5 years, OR
  • 5 years experience within the last 10 years
  • Endorsements : Doubles & TWIC Preferred- Not Required to Start
  • Pass a Ryder Drug Test
  • Pass a Ryder Background and Motor vehicle check including Drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years
  • Pass a DOT physical
  • Pass a Ryder road test
  • Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations policies and / or procedures
  • Must live within 30 miles of Hanover, MD
