Schedule Night shift, 4x12-Hour (18 : 45 - 07 : 15). Weekend shifts required (12-16 per contract). Job Description We are seeking a qualified Registered Nurse for the 4th floor Neurosurgical / Medical unit. The RN will provide care for patients undergoing neurological procedures and managing a variety of neuro-related diagnoses. Responsibilities Manage patient care in a Medical Surgical setting with a focus on neurological patients. Implement pre and post-operative care for neurosurgery patients. Monitor and manage medications including Heparin and Insulin. Perform cardiac monitoring and emergency response, including interpretation and management of dysrhythmias. Adhere to isolation precautions and provide wound care. Maintain IV therapy, including starting and managing peripheral lines. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, and Social Services. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse, with neuro experience preferred. ACLS, BLS, CPI, and NIHSS certifications preferred.
