Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee and lead construction projects in the public sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in federal and municipal construction, with a proven track record of managing ground-up projects from inception to completion. The Project Manager will be responsible for ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate all phases of construction projects from planning through execution.
- Manage project budgets, schedules, and resources effectively to ensure successful project delivery.
- Communicate with clients, stakeholders, and subcontractors to ensure project requirements are met.
- Prepare and maintain project documentation, including RFIs, submittals, and progress reports.
- Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to address potential project challenges.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards, including OSHA requirements.
- Utilize project management software such as Microsoft Project and Procore for scheduling and resource allocation.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or equivalent experience.Minimum of 4 years of experience in project management within the public sector construction industry.Proven experience managing federal and municipal construction projects, particularly ground-up initiatives.Strong knowledge of construction processes, methods, and materials.Excellent communication and leadership skills to manage teams and stakeholders effectively.Familiarity with risk management, scheduling, and resource allocation processes.Proficient in project management tools such as Microsoft Project, Procore, and Bluebeam.OSHA 30 certification preferred.Experience with interior fit-outs and institutional projects is a plus.Benefits
