Primary Purpose :
The position will be responsible for managing the needs of our national account customers by developing sales and business strategies that will increase sales and form long-lasting business. Current national account customer base for this role includes Lowe's, multiple buying groups (LMC, LBM Advantage, Do-It-Best, etc.), Nemeon roofing supply cooperative, and Builders FirstSource.
Primary Responsibilities :
- Develop and execute strategies for growing the business with our national account customers, which encompasses an omnichannel approach.
- Provide management with all necessary reports and project analysis required to maintain the daily business of Home Center and National Account customers. The candidate must be capable of independently gathering, organizing and accurately analyzing high volumes of data in multiple formats.
- Work closely, at all levels, of the Lowe's business internally to help maintain a productive, proactive and profitable business relationship with them. This will require developing an understanding of all cross-functional departments of VELUX.
- Regularly attend Lowes meetings and focus on all aspects of the business in-stores and e-commerce.
- Develop and maintain all sales reports from BWP reporting system to support all National Account customers as needed to effectively manage the business.
- Develop and maintain store plannograms and stock recommendation templates by market with the direction of the National Account Manager. This includes analysis on program rationalization of SKU mix by geographic areas.
- Maintain SKU systems, compliance programs, and operational aspects within assigned national accounts.
- Monthly / Quarterly reporting to all accounts on sales and initiative progress, which may include additional accounts with the department.
- Presentations will be necessary to assigned accounts, or internal VELUX employees. This will include assisting in the preparation of key account presentations for all national account customers.
- Champion support of managed accounts as needed with the field sales team.
- The position will require up to 50% national travel
- Assist in preparing for annual meetings with national account customers. This includes research and analysis of key sales drivers, KPI's and presentation development.
Secondary Responsibilities :
Maintain an active understanding of POS data and regularly provide input to management on results.Stay abreast of trends within the Home Center and related business channels.Position Location :
This role reports into our Fort Mill, SC office and requires 3 days in office presence (Hybrid schedule) with up to 50% national travel
Monthly Starting Salary Range :
$5,375 - $8,063 (Compensation will be based on the skills and experience of the candidate.)
Qualifications :
A bachelor's degree is required.Three to five years of sales experience is preferred.Experience with national accounts or mass merchant retail is preferred.The candidate must have demonstrated capabilities with Excel and PowerPoint.Strong reporting system utilization is preferred coupled with the ability to learn new systems quickly.Excellent communication, both oral and written, and presentation skills are a must.Must possess good organizational and planning skills.Must possess excellent decision making and problem-solving skills.Be capable of handling multiple projects and tasks simultaneously.Enjoys working with others and in a team-oriented approach.Must present a positive and professional image.Compliance with all rules of conduct, safety regulations and policies provided in Employee Handbooks, on Company bulletin boards / announcements, terms / conditions of employment or other means of communication is a requirement of the job.Company Benefits :
