  • Our client is an organization in the Waukesha County area looking for a Senior Accountant. Our client is looking for someone with 2+ years of experience, strong interpersonal skills, and adaptable. This company offers a hard-working team, room for professional growth & development, and flexibility. This position is onsite.

    The salary for this position is $70k - $90k.

    The Senior Accountant will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following :

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Own and execute month-end close activities for multiple sites, including journal entries, variance analysis, and balance sheet reconciliations to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
    • Develop and distribute daily, weekly, and monthly operational and financial to support manufacturing leadership in data-driven decision-making.
    • Collaborate with Financial Controllers and plant leadership to provide actionable insights, variance analysis, and recommendations that improve operational and financial performance.
    • Perform detailed cost accounting reviews, including burden rate calculations, costing accuracy, and profitability analysis, supporting continuous improvement of cost processes.
    • Partner with Shared Services to manage customer invoicing, ensuring billing accuracy and compliance with contractual and financial requirements.
    • Support quarterly and annual reporting processes, including preparation of internal / external financial packages and responses to audit requests, maintaining adherence to internal controls.
    • Assists with other duties and projects as assigned.
    • The Senior Accountant will possess the following :

      EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

    • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is required, CPA preferred.
    • 2+ years of accounting and / or financial analysis experience in a manufacturing environment is required.
    • Proficient understanding of US GAAP and internal controls is preferred.
    • Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., EPICOR, SAP, Oracle, or similar).
    • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint) and willingness to learn other software.
    • Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
