Description : HWL Requisition : Samaritan Medical Center-AN-0651 L&D RN\r\nDECEMEBER 1ST START\r\n60-mile radius rule\r\nNights 7p-7a\r\nCurrent NYS RN license.\r\nBLS and NRP required.\r\nAble to do vaginal exams\r\nCirculate c-sections and recover spinal anesthesia.\r\nGraduate from an accredited School of Nursing.\r\nMust have the ability to identify and intervene in life threatening situations.\r\nPossesses a thorough knowledge of nursing principles, ability to provide quality patient care, and ability to assess patient's needs, e.g. clinical, teaching, mental and spiritual.\r\nMust recognize safety issues to self and others and be able to assess and implement use of lifts to move patients in a safe manner.\r\nMust be able to function well in stressful situations and have good, creative, problem-solving skills. Strong leadership skills with the ability to prioritize and delegate.\r\nExcellent interpersonal, organizational, and written and verbal communication skills required.
