Lead Lean Process Improvement Professional - Procedure / Training
ProSidian Consulting is seeking a Lead Lean Process Improvement Professional - Procedure / Training headquartered near Savannah River Site / Aiken, SC to support an engagement for Nuclear Energy Sector Clients.
This position aligns with the Lead LEAN Process Improvement Professional TR 103 Labor Category and ideal candidates exhibit the ability to visualize, analyze, and convert data and experiences to meet performance challenges while confidently engaging in productive "Jugaad" and dialogue targeting mission success.
ProSidian Team Members work to provide temporary staffing support services to support Savannah River Remediation (SRR), the Liquid Waste (LW) Contractor located at the Department of Energy Savannah River Site in Aiken, SC 29808. Services anticipated includes storage, integration, treatment and disposition of the liquid radioactive waste being managed at the Savannah River Site (DOE).
Major responsibilities include :
- Implementing process improvement initiatives across SRR.
- Analyzing and measuring the effectiveness of existing business processes and developing sustainable, repeatable and quantifiable business process improvements.
- Educating and promoting Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
- Establishing and following a graded approach for solving business problems.
- Collecting and analyzing data to develop business practices and procedures.
- Participating in and coordinating the development of event charters and scheduling.
- Providing event follow-up to monitor the progress of planned improvement implementation.
- Developing reports of overall Continuous Improvement activities.
- Researching best business practices to establish benchmark data.
- Utilizing change control procedures for seamless integration.
- Assessing in-process initiatives to ensure risks of failure are mitigated.
- Cultivating productive working relationships across the organization.
- Actively participating in and facilitating complex process improvement discussions.
- Mentoring junior colleagues in Lean tools / techniques.
- Collaborating with colleagues regarding Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
- Contributing to the creation / revision of process methodologies / protocol, communication strategy and planning, & document management & templates.
- Creating and editing plans, policies, practices, information, data and documentation for assigned initiatives.
- Providing leadership for less experienced analysts.
Qualifications include :
Consecutive employment in a position with comparable responsibilities within the past five (5) years.Ability to use a computer to communicate via email; proficient in Microsoft Office Products.Bachelor's degree from an accredited university.8+ years related experience in process improvement or project management.Excellent oral and written communication skills.Lean experience with complex manufacturing processes and / or high hazard operations.Travel : Occasional travel may be required to attend meetings, events, site visits, or other training requirements. Location : Work shall be conducted at or in proximity to Savannah River Site / Aiken, South Carolina.
U.S. Citizenship Required. Must be able to submit to and qualify for varying levels of background investigative requirements, up to a Top Secret or DOE "Q" clearance.
