ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN OR - Operating Room for a travel nursing job in Anchorage, Alaska.

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details : \n

  • Work Monday through Friday, 6 : 45 AM to 3 : 15 PM (no weekends or holidays)

    • \n

  • 12-week assignment with possible overtime opportunities

    • \n

  • Function as circulating nurse with minimum 1 year OR experience required

    • \n

  • Knowledge of different surgical specialties required

    • \n

  • Ability to scrub on certain cases preferred

    • \n

  • Ability to provide conscious sedation or willingness to learn preferred

    • \n

  • Handle standard outpatient surgeries including orthopedic, plastics, eyes, ENT, general, urology, pain, and podiatry procedures

    • \n

  • Work with 1 RN and 1 surgical technician per operating room with relief team coverage

    • \n

  • May float between three affiliated outpatient surgery centers within a few miles of each other

    • \n

  • Required certifications : Alaska RN license, BLS, ACLS, and PALS

    • \n

  • Dress code : Scrubs and mandatory PPE provided by facility (no nail polish or fragrances allowed)

    • \n

  • Must be a team player willing to prioritize patient and surgeon needs

    This ambulatory surgery center is a stand-alone facility featuring 8 operating rooms and 23 pre-op / PACU bays. The multi-specialty center performs standard outpatient surgeries across various specialties and maintains high standards for patient care. The facility operates without an electronic medical record system and follows standard policies and procedures that are reviewed during onboarding. The organization is affiliated with multiple outpatient surgery centers in the area, providing diverse surgical experience opportunities.
