Harvey Lexus is a full-service, luxury-driven, customer-first automotive dealership in Grand rapids and we are seeking a high-energy, self-starter with outstanding customer service skills for Service Advisor / Writer position in our extremely busy service department. This is a full-time position which includes some rotation of evening and Saturday hours. Qualified applicants will be contacted for an interview. Please no walk-ins or calls. Job Description

Schedule appointments with customers. Greet the customers and work with them and the technician to identify required services using vehicle's service history. Advise customers on necessary/suggested services and costs; advise of any current special promotions available.

Responsibilities

• Schedule appointments with customers
• Greet the customers and work with them and the technician to identify required services using vehicle's service history
• Advise customers on necessary/suggested services and costs; advise of any current special promotions available
• Compute the cost of replacement parts and labor
• Address customer's questions and needs promptly and professionally
• Ensure comprehensive pre‑delivery check of customer vehicle, ensuring cleanliness and that all items identified for service/repair have been completed as scheduled
• Review results of customer satisfaction surveys with the service manager
• Meet the dealership's standards for repair order production

Requirements

• Lexus / Toyota Service Advisor experience highly preferred
• Computer skills (Dealer Track experience is a plus)
• Professional business appearance
• Ability to foresee possible issues and make preemptive decisions quickly
• Flexibility to work with all clients and provide world class service to everyone
• Desire to keep up to date with the required training
• Solid work ethic with superior attendance record
