Mesa West Capital, a subsidiary of Morgan Stanley Investment Management, is a commercial real estate portfolio lender with over $8 billion in assets under management. Headquartered in Los Angeles with offices in New York, Chicago, Houston and San Francisco, Mesa West has been a leading provider of commercial real estate debt since its founding in 2004. Mesa West provides non-recourse first mortgage loans for core / core-plus, value-add, and transitional properties throughout the United States. Mesa West manages institutional capital through a series of private equity funds (open-end, closed-end and separate account mandates). This is an opportunity to join a successful, market-leading platform, and participate in the further growth of the company. The individual will be based in the New York City office and will work within the Asset Management group in a collaborative team environment to help manage, oversee, restructure, workout and exit loans in the debt portfolio. Attention to detail and good organizational skills are critical elements to the position, with the ability to take on multiple deals simultaneously and efficiently utilize resources. The ideal candidate has 1 to 3 years of experience in an analytical role and can operate both independently and in a team environment. Real estate experience is strongly preferred. Candidate should be proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word and have the ability to create clear and concise work product. Argus experience a plus. Strong written, verbal and presentation skills as well as good interpersonal skills are a must. The position requires 4 days in the New York City office.

Essential Job Functions :

• Reconcile and review various reports including monthly portfolio statistics, remittance reconciliations, and quarterly asset reports as required to ensure Situs high standards are achieved in terms of quality, accuracy and completeness
• Monitor the collection of required financial reporting from Borrowers; including, but not limited to, property operating statements (Income Statements, Balance Sheets, aged receivables), rent rolls, STR reports, and guarantor / borrower finances
• Aggregating and compiling property level information into portfolio-wide statistics and presentation materials.
• Assist Asset Managers with quarterly lender reports, including inputting financials, updating rent rolls, and obtaining updated market information.
• Maintain client watchlists detailing property performance, market trends, recent leasing at the property, and any other significant findings.

The annual full time base salary range for this role is $90,000.00 - $120,000.00. Specific compensation is determined through interviews and a review of relevant education, experience, training, skills, geographic location and alignment with market data. Additionally, certain positions may be eligible to receive a discretionary bonus as determined by bonus program guidelines, position eligibility and SitusAMC Senior Management approval. SitusAMC offers PTO and paid holidays, the terms of which are set forth in the program policies.
