Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an Interventional Radiology Technologist for a day shift contract requiring at least 1 year of experience and ability to take call.

Responsibilities

  • Work in an Interventional Radiology unit
  • Cases include bronchoscopy, EBUS, and navigational bronchoscopy
  • Floating within the facility and to an affiliated hospital may be required as needed
  • Schedule is four 10-hour day shifts, 7 : 00 AM to 5 : 30 PM
  • Call is required 1 to 2 days per week and at least 1 weekend per month
  • Local candidates are accepted at the same rate
  • Travelers must be away for 1 full year from any Piedmont facility to return as a traveler
  • If prior employment has ended unfavorably, candidate must complete a successful assignment at a different facility before returning
  • No blocked scheduling is permitted
  • Major holiday coverage required per assignment : if one major holiday falls in the contract, the traveler must work it; if two, must work both; if three, must work two of the three
  • Requests for time off (RTO) are limited to a maximum of 7 days and cannot be requested during the first week of the assignment
  • Orientation includes required modules, which are completed during onboarding and documented via transcript
  • Travel pairs are not allowed to be assigned the same shift on the same unit
  • Requirements

  • Current GA or Compact license must be in hand at time of consideration (license required if applicable)
  • Minimum of 1 year of Interventional Radiology experience
  • Unit accepts first time travelers
  • Ability to submit required documentation and complete / schedule labs within 48 hours of signing the contract
  • TWO supervisory references highly preferred for consideration; references must be from a manager or above
