Location : Cerritos, CA (On site) | Type : Full Time | Hourly Rate : $38 / hr

As a Drivability Technician, you’re one of the most important team members at Norm Reeves Ford , because you’re responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to the maintenance, repair, and diagnostic assessment of Ford vehicles. You’ll use your knowledge and skills to keep our guests safe on the road, follow safety procedures and regulations, and contribute to Norm Reeves Ford’s reputation for excellence.

Your work is key in ensuring guests leave safe and 100% satisfied with their Norm Reeves Ford experience. This role is a great way to kick start your career with us!

What You’ll Do :

  • Perform comprehensive inspections of Ford vehicles to identify mechanical and electrical issues.
  • Utilize diagnostic tools and equipment to accurately diagnose problems.
  • Cleaning and inspection of all parts
  • Explain mechanical diagnoses and required repairs in a non-technical manner to service advisors and customers
  • Inspect and test new vehicles and recording findings so that necessary repairs can be made
  • Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications
  • Keep work station clean at all times

What You’ll Need :

  • Full time availability. You’ll also need to be at least 18 years old
  • A valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
  • Experience driving a range of vehicles; manual transmission a plus.
  • Exceptional commitment to safety
  • Strong sense of accountability
  • Excellent communication and a positive attitude
  • An eye for presentation and detail
