We are seeking a committed professional to join our team. While this is a remote position not located at a physical Medtronic site the candidate hired will be required to reside within the territory and drive to multiple accounts throughout the region. A valid drivers license is essential for this role. The position will be located at Puerto Rico in a hybrid model.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned :

  • Provide clinical and technical support and training to physicians and staff on the EP mapping and navigation system and all CAS (Cardiac Ablation Solutions) products.
  • Educate and train physicians hospital personnel and office staff on technical matters relating to CAS (Cardiac Ablation Solutions) products and related procedures.
  • Promote the safe and effective use of Medtronic CAS (Cardiac Ablation Solutions) products and related procedures.
  • Understand and support national regional and territory sales objectives to achieve or exceed sales goals within all CAS (Cardiac Ablation Solutions) products.
  • Develop and cultivate customer relationships resulting in incremental business.
  • Work in partnership with Account Manager Regional Manager and Area Directors to identify potential sales opportunities.
  • Collaborate and strategize with local sales team to conduct customer training for mapping and other CAS (Cardiac Ablation Solutions) products.
  • Collaborate and communicate with the sales and clinical teams in the region.
  • Serves as an effective Medtronic CAS (Cardiac Ablation Solutions) representative to physicians and support staff regarding Medtronic CAS (Cardiac Ablation Solutions) products service and support.

Required Knowledge and Experience :

  • High school diploma PLUS a minimum of 6 years of related work experience in cardiac mapping and navigation or Associate degree PLUS a minimum of 4 years of related work experience in cardiac mapping and navigation or Bachelor degree plus a minimum of 2 years of related work experience in cardiac mapping and navigation
  • B.A. / B.S. Degree in nursing cardiovascular life sciences or technical discipline with minimum of four years work experience in cardiac field hospital / clinic or sales.
  • Experience in the field of cardiac catheter ablation in electrophysiology laboratories in hospitals / clinics or in medical sales of electrophysiology equipment providing technical / clinical assistance.
  • An advanced level of English is required
  • Additional Job Requirements

  • Environmental exposure to infectious disease and radiation
  • Clinical Specialists are required to be within their assigned territory each day to be available as unscheduled needs arise
  • Clinical Specialists will on occasion be to travel outside of their assigned territory and possibility overnight
  • Must have a valid drivers license
  • Ability to freely move throughout the facility use a phone keyboard and mouse visually able to interact with personal computers
  • Must be able to stand / sit / walk for 8 hours a day
  • Must be able to drive approximately 25-50% of the time within assigned territory and may require overnight travel.
  • Must have a valid drivers license and active vehicle insurance policy. In addition your driving record will be reviewed and will be considered as part of your application.
