Location : Fredericksburg, TX 78624 – Explore historic Fredericksburg, Texas, with its wineries, unique shops, and beautiful landscapes.

Assignment Type : Travel nursing job

Unit : Intensive Care Unit (ICU) – 10 beds

Duration : 13-week contract (Start : 11 / 17 / 2025 – End : 2 / 16 / 2026)

Shift : 12-hour rotating shifts (7a-7p & 7p-7a); every other weekend required

Hours per Week : 36

Estimated Weekly Salary : $1,470 - $1,570

Dress Code : Navy Blue Scrubs

EMR : Meditech Expanse

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – Texas or compact state

Minimum 3 years of recent ICU nursing experience

BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications required

Strong clinical skills : critical thinking, multitasking, and independent decision-making

Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Previous charge nurse experience preferred

ICU RN Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality patient care to critically ill adults in a 10-bed ICU

Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare professionals to implement patient care plans

Operate advanced ICU equipment : Phillips monitors, HillRom beds, Omnicell, GE EKG machine, Lifepak 20e defibrillator, Lucas device, Verathon bladder scanner

Assist with and perform procedures : STEMI and stroke protocols, conscious sedation, chest tubes, codes, intubations

Maintain accurate clinical documentation using Meditech Expanse EMR

Demonstrate urgency and strong critical thinking in high-pressure clinical situations

Work every other weekend as part of the rotating schedule
