Job Overview - Family Medicine Physician (SUD) : Our client in Collier County, FL, is seeking a Family Medicine Physician to provide comprehensive care within a primary care system, focusing on individuals with substance use disorders. This role includes delivering high-quality medical care, supervising nursing activities, and contributing to innovative addiction treatment approaches. Location : Collier County, FL Compensation : $200,000 / year Schedule : 8 : 00 AM to 5 : 00 PM, Monday to Friday Responsibilities as the Family Medicine Physician (SUD) : Patient Care : Elicit histories, conduct physicals, and provide comprehensive medical care, including preventive care and hospital care as needed. SUD Focus : Lead the SUD program with innovative approaches to addiction treatment, maintaining high standards of care. Collaboration : Consult with specialists as necessary and supervise nursing activities. Supervision : Provide education and direct assistance to medical students and residents, and participate in Continuing Medical Education (CME) activities. Qualifications for the Family Medicine Physician (SUD) : Licensure : Current Florida Medical License. Education : MD or DO degree with 3 years of residency in a specialty field. Experience : 5 years working with patients affected by Substance Use Disorder (SUD). Certifications : CPR and AED certification required, with proficiency in electronic health records.
