About the Role : Job Summary

Neuro / Medical is a 36-bed Neuro medical and Intermediate Care nursing unit. As a mixed Neuro unit, care is rendered to a variety of intermediate care neuro patients and standard acute neuro patients including but not limited to :

• Lower to high acuity ischemic and hemorrhagic stroke patients
• Patients post 25-hour from thrombolytic treatment
• Patients requiring continuous EEG monitoring
• Patients with other neurological disorders such as Guillain-Barre' Syndrome, Myasthenia Gravis, and ALS
• Patients with hemodynamic instability needing antiarrhythmic
• Chest tube care and management
• Epidural / PCA management
• Tracheostomy care
