Basic Job Functions :

Centria, a Nucor Company, is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Shipping Coordinator. This position schedules all shipments for the Sheridan AR plant. An understanding of shipping, scheduling, computer functions and customer service are required. The coordinator facilitates Scheduling, accurate reporting of shipments, on-time deliveries, and various other paperwork / reports involved with the process. Perform other duties and operations in the department as needed. Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.

Minimum Qualifications :

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be able to demonstrate safety as a top priority for themselves and others.
• Must possess the ability to use Word, Excel, and Power Point.
• An understanding of JDE, Oracle, or other systems is a necessity.
