Education : Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field, or equivalent experience.

Schedule : Monday - Friday, 8 : 00am to 5 : 00pm

ProRecruiters is seeking a Buyer to join a growing and dynamic team!

Job Description :

• Ensure timely material availability for production builds by using the purchasing workbench to plan and procure required materials.
• Monitor open purchase orders and take appropriate actions—including expediting, deferring, canceling, and maintaining accurate data.
• Prepare, submit, and follow up on competitive supplier quotes.
• Develop and maintain strategic purchasing parameters within part and vendor files.
• Load BOMs into the ERP system prior to executing purchasing activities.
• Track and report KPI metrics to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities.
• Monitor dead stock and recommend solutions to improve inventory utilization.
• Resolve material receipt issues and maintain accurate documentation.
• Coordinate vendor returns, RMAs, and material credits.
• Build and maintain strong supplier relationships to optimize cost, quality, delivery performance, and contractual compliance.
• Analyze current and historical inventory trends to determine effective purchasing strategies for stock and project-based needs.
• Collaborate closely with engineering / drafting teams on RFIs and participate in discussions to support DFMA (Design for Manufacturability) improvements.
