ER RN Travel Nursing Job Details

Location : Niagara Falls, NY 14301 (New York healthcare jobs)

Setting : Emergency Department (Medical & Psychiatric)

Assignment Length : 8 weeks (Start : 10 / 27 / 2025 – End : 12 / 20 / 2025)

Shift : Night shift, 12-hour shifts (7 : 00 PM – 7 : 00 AM)

Hours per Week : 36

Estimated Weekly Pay : $2100–$2250

Employment Type : Travel Nursing Assignment

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (New York RN license preferred)

Minimum 1 year of recent Emergency Room nursing experience

Experience with acute psychiatric patients preferred (psych nursing experience a plus)

Familiarity with de-escalation techniques and safety protocols (CPI or PMCS certification preferred, or willingness to obtain)

Ability to provide 1 : 1 patient observation and maintain situational awareness

Excellent communication and teamwork skills

ER RN Responsibilities

Deliver emergency nursing care to patients with acute illnesses or injuries

Triage, assess, and treat both medical and behavioral health emergencies

Administer medications and collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams

Float between Medical Emergency Department and Psychiatric Emergency Department as needed

Maintain a secure, therapeutic environment for all patients

Utilize de-escalation techniques and adhere to hospital safety protocols
