Weekly Pay || $17-$18 an hour || Louisville, KY

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking individual to assist with general labor duties. The main responsibility will involve operating a shot blasting machine. Additional tasks may include moving materials and parts, as well as grinding and deburring components.

Responsibilities

• Operate a shot blasting machine effectively and safely.
• Move materials and parts as needed to ensure smooth workflow.
• Perform grinding and deburring of parts to meet quality standards.

Work Environment

The work takes place in a full-service steel fabricating operation that offers various cutting services and machining processes. The main client is in the forklift division. The facility employs approximately 130 people. The first shift operates from 6 am to 2 : 30 pm, Monday to Friday, with current extended hours up to 12-hour days and some Saturdays. The environment is non-climate controlled, loud, dirty, and can be very hot during the summer months.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Louisville, Kentucky.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00 / hr.
