Job description

New Tech Global is currently seeking a Mechanical Technician in Houston, TX.
Overview

  • Assist with commissioning activities in a laboratory testing environment.
  • Utilize power tools and hand tools to assemble mechanical components and equipment.
  • Read and interpret technical drawings and layouts to properly install and connect hardware.
  • Perform mechanical assembly and installation tasks according to specifications.
  • Ensure all work is completed according to safety and operational standards.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Work efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Follow instructions from supervisors and support team operations as needed.
Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Experience utilizing power tools and hand tools.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
  • Ability to work effectively with a sense of urgency.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Must comply with all company safety and HSE policies.
