Campus Relations Assistant
This position performs a variety of administrative functions to support the Campus and Community Relations Coordinator where needed.
Duties and tasks include :
- Creating basic marketing materials, presentation and signage
- Maintaining campus newsletter
- Assisting with planning and coordinating campus / community events and activities
- Providing assistance with managing information and graphics for use across social media channels
- Assisting with supporting the needs of various campus committees
- Answering telephones and managing emails
- Other administrative duties as assigned
- All applicants must reside in Virginia, Maryland or District of Columbia.
Minimum qualifications include :
Required KSA's :
Strong writing and verbal communication skillsAbility to engage and interact with a variety of individuals at various professional levelsProven skill with creating flyers, brochures, presentations and graphics, using Adobe products and other publication / presentation software (ex : Photoshop, Publisher, PowerPoint, etc.)Knowledgeable on creating databases using ExcelEfficiency with MS Office suiteAbility to conduct mail merges with office software applicationsExcellent customer service skillsOutstanding organizational and project management skillsConsistently maintains a professional demeanorAbility to work in groups and independentlyMinimum work experience :
Experience in a customer service environmentExperience with computer programs such as Microsoft OfficeExperience in marketing, communications, and graphic designExperience working in an office setting / administrative roleAdditional considerations :
