Construction Project Manager - High Rise Projects

Job Summary

Houston Skilled Consultancy is seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to lead and oversee high-rise building projects from planning through completion. This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and the ability to manage large-scale construction activities while ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent coordination skills, a deep understanding of high-rise construction, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the planning, execution, and completion of high-rise construction projects.

Oversee project schedules, budgets, resources, and quality control processes.

Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure alignment with project goals.

Conduct risk assessments and implement strategies to mitigate potential delays or issues.

Ensure compliance with building codes, safety standards, and legal regulations.

Monitor project progress and prepare regular reports for senior management and clients.

Manage subcontractor performance and vendor relationships.

Lead site meetings and provide clear direction to teams at all project stages.

Drive continuous improvement in construction practices and efficiency.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.

Proven track record of managing high-rise construction projects.

Strong project management skills with knowledge of scheduling tools (MS Project, Primavera, or similar).

Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership abilities.

In-depth understanding of building codes, safety procedures, and construction best practices.

Ability to manage multiple priorities and solve complex problems under pressure.

Experience

Minimum 7–10 years of progressive experience in construction project management.

At least 3 years of direct experience managing high-rise residential or commercial projects

Experience handling budgets exceeding multi-million-dollar projects.

Working Hours

Full-time position.

Standard work schedule : Monday to Friday, 9 : 00 AM – 6 : 00 PM

Flexibility to work extended hours, weekends, or evenings as required by project demands.
