ProLogistix is now hiring for an Experienced 1st Warehouse Coordinator with a world-renowned computer company.
Location : Whitsett
Hours and Starting Pay : 1st Shift Monday Friday 6 : 30am-3pm $23.00hr
Objective
The Warehouse Coordinator is responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations. This role ensures inventory, equipment, and workflow remain organized and efficient to support high-volume order fulfillment. The Warehouse Coordinator acts as the operational backbone of the facilitymaintaining structure, enforcing standards, and enabling smooth execution across 1st and 2nd shifts.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Manage overall warehouse organization, including layout, storage optimization, and material flow.
- Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring timely receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and dispatch.
- Oversee inventory accuracy through cycle counts, audits, and system updates.
- Assign tasks and direct daily workload across warehouse operators to meet production goals.
- Maintain clear visibility of order queues, backlog, and throughput to support leadership in planning.
- Ensure proper handling, labeling, and storage of customer devices and materials.
- Monitor and enforce safety protocols, cleanliness, and compliance with industry standards.
- Support escalation resolution when order flow or warehouse bottlenecks occur.
- Collaborate with shift leads and managers to align resources with business priorities.
- Track and report warehouse performance metrics (inventory accuracy, order cycle time, SLA adherence, etc.).
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency, reduce waste, and optimize space utilization.
Critical Skills & Qualifications
Proven experience in warehouse coordination, logistics, or fulfillment center operations.Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.Hands-on knowledge of inventory management systems, warehouse workflows, and shipping processes.Proficiency with Microsoft Office products; SAP, WMS, or other ERP experience preferred.Ability to lead small teams, delegate effectively, and maintain accountability.Strong understanding of warehouse safety protocols and compliance standards.Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot operational issues.Ability to thrive in high-pressure situations and meet tight deadlines.Fluent in English; additional languages are an advantage.
