About The Position

Must-Have :

• Blood Product Administration
• Central line care / management
• CPAP / BiPAP
• IV vasopressors
• Triage

Description :

Unit details include :

Weekend shifts every other week.

No call required.

Floating may be required within the facility / scope of practice as needed.

Minimum experience of two years is required.

First-time travelers are accepted.

Travelers are expected to work major holidays as assigned.

If one or two major holidays occur during the assignment period, travelers are expected to work those holidays with no holiday requests allowed.

If three major holidays occur during the assignment period, travelers will be expected to work two of the holidays.

Full compliance is required to start on time.

Candidates must be flexible with scheduling.

Two supervisory references are highly preferred.

Candidates must submit core items and complete labs quickly to ensure an on-time start.

This position may accept local candidates.

Travelers should complete successful assignments outside of previous facilities prior to rebooking.

Daily patient ratios are four for day and night shifts.

Patient age groups include neonates, adolescents, infants, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics.

The unit works with interdisciplinary support services.

Self-scheduling is available but will follow established processes.

Modules are completed during orientation and vary by specialty.

Candidates should be prepared for compliance document submittal before the start date.

Major holidays include Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving / Black Friday, Christmas Eve / Christmas Day, and New Year’s Eve / New Year’s Day.

If deemed unable to return to a facility, a traveler must complete one successful assignment outside before being eligible to rebook.
