We're seeking a passionate Occupational Therapist to join our Early Intervention (Part C) team, with a specialized focus on infant feeding, oral motor development, and sensory-motor growth.

What You'll DoAssessment & Clinical Expertise - Conduct comprehensive OT evaluations with an emphasis on feeding, oral motor skills, swallowing, positioning, and sensory-motor development
- Assess need for adaptive equipment and assistive technology
- Document evaluations, progress notes, and IFSP outcomes in compliance with Part C and organizational requirements
Intervention & Service Delivery - Provide evidence-based occupational therapy services aligned with each child's IFSP
- Embed feeding, sensory, and motor interventions into daily routines in natural environments (homes and community settings)
- Address feeding challenges, sensory processing needs, and motor development in infants and toddlers
- Serve as the primary provider while collaborating closely with interdisciplinary team members
Family Partnership & Coaching - Coach parents and caregivers to confidently implement feeding and developmental strategies in everyday routines
- Educate families on safe feeding practices, nutrition, oral motor development, and sensory regulation
- Honor family culture, values, and preferences while fostering family leadership
Collaboration & Professional Practice - Participate in team meetings, consultations, and IFSP reviews
- Support smooth transitions (Part C to Part B or community services)
- Maintain licensure and pursue ongoing professional development
- Mentor contracted therapists and support training initiatives as needed
What You'll BringRequired Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy
- Current Colorado OT license
- Minimum 1 year of experience working with infants or young children with developmental delays or disabilities
- Strong knowledge of infant feeding, oral motor skills, sensory integration, and early childhood development
- Experience in Early Intervention / Part C and natural environment service delivery
- Ability to work independently, manage a caseload, and communicate effectively with families
- Comfort with mobile technology and electronic documentation systems
Preferred Qualifications - Master's degree in Occupational Therapy
- 3+ years of early intervention or transdisciplinary team experience
- Experience with Medicaid Waiver programs, adaptive equipment, and assistive technology
- Advanced experience supporting feeding, oral motor, and sensory processing challenges
Work Environment & Requirements - Services provided in homes, community locations, office, and virtual settings
- Moderate physical activity including lifting up to 20 pounds
- Valid Colorado driver's license, reliable transportation, and auto insurance
(Minimum coverage: $100,000 / $300,000 / $100,000 unless exempt as an active military family)
