Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: PACU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 1 year experience required License: Registered Nurse License Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS Must-Have: 1. Previous charge experience 2. Experience with Epic charting system 3. Experience with a patient ratio of 1:4 Description: Shift: 3x12 hour days required. This position involves caring for patients recovering from surgery. Patient diagnoses include general, orthopedics, ortho spine, and robotic cases. Travel nurses are encouraged to apply. No local candidates will be accepted within a 50-mile radius. Position requires a patient ratio of 1:4 during the day shift. Knowledge and skills in advanced nursing procedures are essential. Candidates should have experience in post-anesthesia care. Orientation will be provided for the hired candidate. Participation may include on-call requirements as necessary. Daily patient care involves monitoring vital signs and administering medications. The role involves working collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams. Candidates must be comfortable performing assessments and managing patient care plans. Flexibility, critical thinking, and effective communication skills are necessary.
