Job description

Job Description

  • Housekeeping Dispatcher will assist the guests in placing their guest room supply requests
  • Provide communication between staff and management for effective operations
  • Provide friendly, courteous service in accordance with standard procedures
  • Communicate to other departments throughout the hotel
  • Answer phone throughout shift
  • Monitor Hotsos and emails throughout the day
  • Print and go over traces emails and report from Opera and assign to runner
  • Ensure all open calls in Hotsos have been dispatched and get completed within 20 minutes
  • Do follow up calls with the guests
  • Leave DND messages to guests. Dispatch all queue, group rooms and VIP rooms to all supervisors
  • Maintain housekeeping office cleanliness
  • Ensure all calls are being dispatched through Hotsos
  • Ensure chemical bottles/amenity baskets filled according to the department needs
  • Maintain back of the house cleanliness and organize all the collateral
  • Ensure all collateral and amenities are available for the PM shift
  • Clear departures and dispatch all queue, group rooms and service call to all managers / Supervisors
Pay Rate: $32.03 Per Hour

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years housekeeping experience, preferably at a luxury hotel
  • Must have excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Must have excellent interpersonal, organizational and administrative skills
  • Must be detail oriented
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office
    Must be proactive, flexible, able to meet deadlines, and to work under pressure
  • Must be able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Must be a team player
