Material Handler Forklift Operator
As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for maintaining inventory identification and locations, delivering items to the production line, and operating a stand-up forklift. You will also unload trucks and racks using stand-up and sit-down forklifts, as well as pallet jacks. This role requires constant movement and a fast-paced approach, as you will walk frequently to identify and replenish empty lot items on racks to support production. The position involves scanning locations, retrieving items from the warehouse, and replenishing them on racks.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate inventory identification and locations.
- Correct and transfer items within the MRP system.
- Move received items from dock to assigned inventory locations.
- Utilize restocking lists or respond to production requests to deliver items to the production line.
Essential Skills:
- Previous experience with stand-up forklifts.
- Ability to repetitively lift 30-40lb parts.
- Ownership of steel-toed or composite-toed protective shoes.
- Ability to work safely and maintain high quality standards.
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience in a high-speed picking department.
- General labor and warehouse worker skills.
- Proficiency in using RF scanners and pallet jacks.

Work Environment:

The dress code requires steel-toed shoes, safety glasses, protective cut sleeves, cut gloves, and cotton, canvas, or denim pants.

Pay and Benefits:
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
