Job Description

As a Security Professional - Armed Patrol - Full Time in Holland, MI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols and remaining highly visible throughout the assigned location. Your responsibilities will include monitoring premises, interacting with individuals on-site, and delivering exceptional customer service while carrying out your security-related duties. This position requires a valid concealed carry weapons permit, as you will be armed during your shifts. Tue 03 : 00 PM - 11 : 00 PM

Wed 03 : 00 PM - 11 : 00 PM

Thur 03 : 00 PM - 11 : 00 PM

Fri 03 : 00 PM - 11 : 00 PM

Sat 03 : 00 PM - 11 : 00 PM

What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and / or, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.

  • Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • A valid and current Concealed Carry Weapons Permit is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
