Vice President of Enterprise Applications
The Vice President of Enterprise Applications is a key executive leader responsible for developing and executing the enterprise application strategy that supports the company's operational and business goals nationwide. This role will oversee all mission-critical business applications including ERP, CRM, supply chain, logistics, finance, and business intelligence platforms. VP will lead cross-functional teams to optimize, integrate, and innovate technology solutions that drive efficiency, scalability, and competitive advantage within the food equipment and distribution industry.
Key Responsibilities :
Develop and implement a comprehensive enterprise application roadmap aligned with the company's strategic objectives and growth plans.Lead the selection, deployment, integration, and management of core systems including ERP system tailored for food equipment and distribution.Collaborate closely with business leaders across operations, sales, finance, purchasing, and IT to ensure applications meet evolving business needs and compliance requirements.Drive digital transformation initiatives focused on automation, data analytics, inventory optimization, and customer experience improvement.Drive process automation via building process improvement workflows and agentic automation.Oversee budget planning, vendor relationships, and contract negotiations related to application services and support.Build and mentor a high-performing team of application managers, analysts, and developers fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.Ensure application security, data governance, and compliance with regulatory standards affecting food distribution operations.Facilitate cross-departmental communication and stakeholder engagement to promote transparency and alignment in IT initiatives.Monitor technological trends and emerging best practices to recommend and implement future-proof application strategies.Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Business, or related field (Master's preferred).Minimum 10 years of senior leadership experience overseeing enterprise application strategy, management, and implementations in a supply chain, logistics, or distribution environment.Proven expertise with ERP systems, preferably in industrial distribution or related industries.Strong knowledge of business processes in inventory, order management, transportation, and purchasing and financials.Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex projects in matrixed organizations.Experience with cloud-based SaaS applications, business intelligence tools, and integration platforms, including, but not limited to building agents.Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills with a strategic and results-oriented mindset.Experience managing multi-million-dollar budgets and vendor partnerships.Candidates are encouraged to apply even if they do not meet all listed requirements.
