Landscape Worker 1

Under limited supervision, the Landscape Worker 1 does general labor work. They work with various hand tools such as hand trowels, garden shears, handweeders, etc. In addition, they perform other work including but not limited to, lifting, picking up rubbish or debris, irrigating, operating non-riding mowers, weed whacker and general PVC irrigation pipe connections and repairs.

Responsibilities:

• Manually weeds hotel grounds and other areas as assigned.
• Irrigates planting material.
• Helps propagate planting materials in the nurseries.
• Performs various basic tasks in the caring and growing of plants and the upkeep of the beautification of hotel grounds.
• Operates non-riding mowers in hotel grounds, and other areas as assigned.
• Uses the weed whacker in areas inaccessible to mowing.
• Assists in general irrigation PVC hook up.
• Performs work with due regard to safety of self and fellow employees, exercising proper care and protection of company property.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Preferred Qualifications and Skills:

• Team oriented, versatile, well groomed hospitality professional.
• Ability to work in a wide range of environmental and physical conditions.
• Ability to lift up to 70lbs.

Candidates must have valid work authorization for the U.S.
