Job Title : Calibration Technician - 1st shift - M-F $ 25-35 / hr DOE
Job Description
Join a dynamic mechanical contracting company specializing in HVAC and refrigeration installation and service. We have expanded to include a dedicated division for calibration, providing expertise in physical, denominational, and electronic calibration. Our focus includes temperature, humidity, calipers, tape measures, circumference, and electronic equipment like multi-meters.
Responsibilities
Ensure quality control both onsite and in the shop.
Manage uncertainty budgets and uncertainties.
Conduct internal audits with accountability for outcomes and corrections.
Oversee external audits of sub-contractors.
Understand and own the SOP, quality manuals, matrixes, and approved vendors.
Manage out-of-tolerance reports and reverse traceability.
Supervise the quality of work performed by technicians and metrologists.
Perform and comprehend industry calculations in the field and lab, assisting as necessary to ensure timely completion of work.
Conduct in-place calibrations and lift heavy equipment (up to 50 lbs) as required.
Work collaboratively with customers, technicians, and management to achieve excellent service results that meet Quality Management System and customer requirements.
Travel to various job sites within medical device manufacturing and cleanroom environments to handle calibration testing.
Essential Skills
Experience in electronic and physical calibration.
Proficiency in calibration, instrumentation, electronics, and test equipment.
Ability to perform electrical and mechanical calibrations.
Troubleshooting skills for large electrical builds.
HVAC, heating, or cooling troubleshooting expertise.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $50.00 / hr.
