Long Term Care Registered Nurse (RN) - Travel Position

Location : Hilo, HI

Job Type : Travel Contract

Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : 3x12s Flexible

Pay : $1904 / week

Job Description :

We are seeking a compassionate Long Term Care Registered Nurse (RN) to provide ongoing care and support to residents in a long-term care or skilled nursing facility. The RN will oversee daily clinical care, administer medications, and collaborate with the healthcare team to promote residents’ health, safety, and quality of life. The ideal candidate is patient-focused, organized, and dedicated to building trusting relationships with residents and their families.

Key Responsibilities :

Provide and oversee direct nursing care to residents, including assessments, treatments, and medication administration.

Monitor residents’ health status, document findings, and communicate changes to physicians and families.

Develop, implement, and update individualized care plans.

Supervise and support nursing assistants and other care staff.

Educate residents and families on health conditions, treatments, and preventive care.

Ensure compliance with facility policies, state regulations, and infection control practices.

Qualifications :

Active RN license in HI

Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, COVID vaccine, recent TB test

Minimum 1 year of nursing experience in long-term care or skilled nursing
