Job Description
The Sr. Commercial Loan Officer combines an external sales role focusing on growing a Commercial portfolio through building new customer relationships with internal collaboration in practicing sound risk judgement. This job meets or exceeds annual sales, revenue, volume & new customer objectives while showing credit aptitude. The Sr. Commercial Loan Officer maximizes profitability, revenue and retention of new relationships by cross selling the full range of products and services. This job is the primary contact for developing new client relationships while managing existing Customer relationships and is the bridge between client and internal credit / risk partners. The CRE REITs and Investment Funds Relationship Manager will be responsible for advising REITs and Private Equity Real Estate Investment Funds in all aspects of balance sheet management strategies including on balance sheet solutions as well as coordinating with TD Securities product partners on public equity and public / private debt capital markets solutions. The CRE REITs and Investment Funds Relationship Manager will be responsible for originating, structuring and executing debt capital strategies including corporate credit facilities, bank term loans, commercial mortgages, capital call facilities and bridge financings.

Education & Experience
4 year degree or equivalent experience 10+ years related experience In-depth understanding of commercial industry, business development techniques and credit decisions Proven business development track record, with proven ability to conceptualize and implement effective new business strategies Extensive network of outside referral sources for new business Excellent credit and financial analysis skills Refined negotiation skills Proven communication skills, both verbal and written Proven PC skills Membership in civic and professional organizations required
