Responsibilities Position is in the Main Operating Room of a hospital setting Day shift schedule, Monday through Friday, 5x8 hour shifts from 6 : 30 to 15 : 00 Call and late days required as needed Cases include Neuro / Spine, Ortho / trauma, General, and Robotics Patient population includes trauma and surgical patients Altera charting experience preferred but not required Responsibilities include providing perioperative nursing care for a variety of surgical cases including neuro, spine, ortho, trauma, and robotics Mandatory completion of modules during orientation, averaging 6-8 hours Travel nursing experience is preferred All modules are completed during the paid orientation period Requirements Active TX or compact RN license required At least 2 years of experience in the operating room service line required Craniotomy and burr hole experience required Current BLS certification required Resume and certification verification required for consideration Must reside outside a 150-mile radius from the facility Previous permanent staff must be gone at least 1 year to return as a traveler Completion of required labs within 72 hours of offer acceptance or have a plan in place Two supervisory references from the last three years of employment required Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-621854.
