Job Summary

Oversee and manage the functions of Continuous Improvement, Engineering, Maintenance, Training and Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) for the facility.
Core Responsibilities
- Develop projects focused on equipment upgrades to drive our operational excellence process. Lead Maintenance Department including facility management and engineering services.
- Partner with facility leadership to identify, investigate, recommend, develop and implement continuous improvement opportunities throughout the facility to eliminate waste and non-conforming product.
- Manage and facilitate training programs for production, warehouse and equipment for all personnel within the factory in regards to operations, safety and EHS. Lead the Safety Committee for the location.
- Ensure compliance of equipment, products and procedures to the Quality Systems. Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs and daily execution of routine, urgent and emergency work orders to keep facility operations efficient and effective.
- Develop and maintain measurement systems to track key maintenance performance parameters (machine uptime, changeover times, DRs, PM programs, etc.) and implement corrective actions. Review and approve monthly expenditures by the department to support profitability.
- Analyze and plan workforce utilization, space requirements, equipment design and workspace layout for maximum operational efficiency.
- Develop and mentor staff through onboarding, communication, training and development opportunities; manage performance, maintain employee morale, and ensure appropriate staffing with required competencies. Oversee outside contractors.
Education & Experience
Education : HSD or equivalentRelevant Work Experience :3 years of experience managing people, including hiring, developing, motivating and directing staff
5 years of manufacturing / maintenance experienceExperience with a CMMSPreferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree strongly preferred, particularly in Industrial Engineering or a related disciplineTechnical Certifications - Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen; Black Belt certification a plusProficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PPT, Access)Bilingual (English-Spanish)Must be able to lift up to 75 poundsExperience with structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC and fire systems (a plus)Experience in safetyAbility to work in hot temperatures about 25% of the timeLocation & Division

Compensation & Benefits
The Anticipated Salary Range For This Position : $90,480.00 - $135,720.00 Annual. The actual salary will vary based on location, education, experience, skills and abilities. This role is bonus and / or incentive eligible. Medline will not pay less than the applicable minimum wage or salary threshold.
