Travel Nurse Job Details Location : Raton, NM (87740) - Experience a vibrant healthcare community in northern New Mexico Healthcare Setting : Rural Critical Access Hospital, LDRP Unit Contract Length : 13 or 8 weeks (flexible options for travel nurses) Start Date : December 1, 2025 End Date : March 2, 2026 Nursing Shift : Night shifts, 12 hours (18 : 00 - 06 : 30) Hours per Week : 36 Scheduling : Blocked scheduling (7ON / 7OFF rotation), every other weekend required Patient Ratio : 1 : 1 EMR System : Cerner Estimated Weekly Salary Range : $2310 - $2470 Registered Nurse Qualifications Minimum 1 year of recent Labor & Delivery RN experience Active New Mexico or compact RN license (must be in hand at submission) Required certifications : BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP Experience with Cerner EMR (facility transitioned in October 2022) 2 professional references required Willingness to float within hospital or to affiliate hospitals as needed Local candidates (within 100 miles) not accepted All requested time off (RTO) must be included with initial submission; no RTO around holidays will be approved L&D RN Responsibilities Deliver comprehensive care to laboring mothers and newborns in a modern LDRP unit Utilize advanced perinatal equipment including ventilators, bilirubin lights, and warmers Collaborate with family practice physicians and OB / GYNs to provide high-quality patient care Accurately document patient care using Cerner EMR Float to other units or affiliate hospitals as required Participate in blocked scheduling and every other weekend coverage No on-call required Join our healthcare team in Raton, New Mexico, and make a difference in maternal and newborn care.
