Job Title : LPN Correctional

Location : Philadelphia, PA 19136

Duration : 13 Weeks.

Days : Sun, Tue, Wed, Thu, Sat

Shift : 5x8 Days (3 : 00pm-11 : 30pm), Sun, Tue, Wed, Thu, Sat, 40 hrs. / week

Pay Rate : $37-$41 / hr. on W2.

Requirements :

  • Will need to float to other facilities as needed.
  • Every other weekend availability.
  • Min 1-year correctional experience required.

Responsibilities :

  • Administer medications as prescribed.
  • Dress wounds and provide wound care.
  • Take and record vital signs.
  • Collect samples for testing.
  • Provide basic first aid and emergency care.
  • Assess inmate health needs and develop care plans.
  • Educate inmates on health-related topics.
  • Monitor inmate health status and report any concerns.
  • Work closely with correctional officers, physicians, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Communicate effectively with inmates, staff, and other healthcare providers.
  • Participate in team meetings and case conferences.
  • Maintain a safe and secure environment for inmates and staff.
  • Follow all facility policies and procedures.
  • Respond to emergency situations as needed.
  • Maintain accurate and complete records of inmate care.
  • Document all nursing interventions and assessments.
