Overview

Kelemen North and South 9 is a two-sided, seventy-six bed Medical-Surgical Telemetry unit. Our staff care for a variety of patient populations, including cardiac, trauma, gastrointestinal, and psych. o To support our staff are Clinical Nurse Managers (CNMs) which help with patient care, through put, and assignments. Nurses who are staffed on Kelemen 9 are required to have Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications, which will allow competent and safe care for our complex patient populations.

Short Description

• Under the direction of a Registered Nurse (RN), assists with patients' activities of daily living and plan of care.
• Communicates with and supports healthcare team, patients and / or patient's family or significant other(s).
• Maintains and demonstrates high standards of professional ethics.

Experience Required

1 year or more patient care experience in a similar role preferred.

Education Requirements

License / Certification Requirements

AHA Basic Life Support certification.

Special Requirements

Must successfully complete EKG and Phlebotomy training during orientation.
