Telemetry RN Job Details

Location : Salem, MA 01970 (North Shore, Greater Boston area)

Assignment Length : 13 weeks (Start : 12 / 14 / 2025 – End : 3 / 14 / 2026)

Healthcare Setting : Inpatient Medical Telemetry (Pingree 5 Unit, 24 beds)

Hours per Week : 36

Shift : 12-hour rotating shifts (days, evenings, nights; every other weekend required)

Charting System : EPIC EMR

RN to Patient Ratio : 1 : 4-5

Floating : Required as needed to other units

Estimated Weekly Salary : $1780 - $1910

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Current and active Massachusetts RN license

Minimum 3 years of recent experience as a Telemetry Registered Nurse

BLS certification (American Heart Association required)

Strong skills in reading and interpreting cardiac telemetry strips

Experience with adult medical patient populations in an inpatient setting

Ability to work rotating shifts and float as needed

Completion of all required onboarding health screenings and background checks

Telemetry RN Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality nursing care to adult patients on a medical telemetry unit

Monitor and interpret cardiac telemetry strips, responding promptly to patient changes

Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans

Accurately document patient care using EPIC electronic medical records (EMR)

Maintain a safe, therapeutic environment for patients and staff

Float to other hospital units as required to support patient care needs

Participate in shift rotations, including days, evenings, nights, and every other weekend
