JOB SUMMARY
The Director of Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) will be responsible for financial forecasting, budgeting, and analysis to support strategic decision-making across the organization. The ideal candidate will have strong financial modeling skills, a solid understanding of accounting principles, and excellent communication abilities
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead the annual budgeting process, develop long-term financial plans, and create rolling forecasts
- Develop and maintain financial models for various business units and projects
- Analyze current financial performance, identify trends, and evaluate variances against budgets and forecasts
- Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including key performance indicators (KPIs), to senior leadership
- Support the monthly financial reporting process, including variance analysis and management reporting
- Collaborate with senior leadership and cross-functional teams across departments to provide insights and support strategic decision-making
- Prepare ad-hoc financial analyses and reports as needed to support decision-making
- Develop and implement financial models and tools to improve the accuracy and efficiency of financial operations
- Assist in the evaluation of potential investments, mergers, and acquisitions
- Identify financial and operational risks and opportunities and recommend corrective actions
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, & EXPERIENCE
A bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field.An MBA or other advanced degree8 to 10 years of experience in finance or accounting, with significant experience in a management or leadership roleConstruction company experienceKnowledge of accounting principles and financial statement analysisStrong analytical, critical thinking, communication, and presentation skills are essential.A solid understanding of financial modeling and a proven track record in FP&A leadership are required
