• Receiving : Unloading delivery trucks, verifying incoming goods against invoices, noting shortages or damage, and properly storing items.
• Shipping : Picking, packing, and preparing products for shipment , and creating necessary shipping documents like bills of lading.
• Inventory management : Maintaining accurate inventory counts, updating records, and performing regular physical inventory checks.
• Quality control : Inspecting incoming and outgoing products for damage or discrepancies and handling any quality issues that arise.
• Equipment operation : Good driving record in order to drive company vehicles. Using equipment like forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks to move and store goods. Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 LB box.
• Record keeping : Using manual or computerized systems to document all shipping and receiving activities. Including Microsoft Office programs.
• Skills :
• Proficient driving a Forklift.
• Valid Driver's License
• Attention To Detail
• Proficient In Microsoft Programs (Office, Outlook, Xcel, Word, etc.)
• Excellent verbal and written Communication Skills.
