POSITION SCOPE

The Water Truck Operator must be able to operate a water truck according to project specifications. Primary duties include watering the haul road maintaining and operating equipment on a daily basis on a washing or crushing plant. This position may include day or night shift work travel and overtime and weekend work.

PRIMARY DUTIES

  • Operate equipment efficiently to maintain production goals
  • Perform general maintenance repair and service wash or crushing plant equipment as required or directed by supervisor
  • Individual must be able to lift objects weighing 80 lb. on a regular basis
  • Use of a shovel to move material will be necessary
  • Follows procedures for safe operation of vehicle
  • Perform all duties within safety guidelines set up by M.S.H.A. and company policy
  • Perform pre-shift inspections on equipment prior to startup
  • Perform other duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS

  • Applicant must be at least 18 years old
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • M.S.H.A. Part 48 certified
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test
  • Ability to lift and move up to 80 lbs.
  • Acceptable MVR in accordance with Fishers Company Vehicle Program policy is required
  • Work well in a team environment
  • Mechanical knowledge of equipment and being able to perform routine maintenance
  • Basic knowledge of welding and using a cutting torch
