JOB SUMMARY :

As an Emergency Medical Technician I (EMT), you will provide crucial first aid treatment and assist in the transportation of sick or injured individuals to medical facilities. You will be an integral member of an emergency medical team, committed to maintaining safety and order during medical emergencies.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :

• Evaluate the nature and extent of illnesses or injuries to provide appropriate first aid and determine if additional assistance is needed.
• Administer first aid treatment on-site or in a specially equipped vehicle, including applying splints, administering oxygen, and providing CPR when necessary.
• Act as a liaison with medical personnel at treatment facilities to arrange for patient reception and further care.
• Control access to client sites through effective admission processes that prioritize both safety and efficiency.
• Maintain a welcoming atmosphere by interacting courteously and professionally with clients and visitors.
• Conduct regular site patrols, checking for unsafe conditions and ensuring that access points are monitored.
• Prepare necessary logs and reports related to emergency incidents and security activities.
• Respond promptly to incidents such as fires, medical emergencies, and hazardous situations, providing EMT-related support.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development to ensure compliance with applicable regulations and enhance emergency response capabilities.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS :

WORKING CONDITIONS :

This role requires maintaining composure in high-pressure situations and may involve exposure to stressful conditions. You may be required to work overtime and handle various physical tasks, including lifting and moving equipment. Your safety and that of others are paramount, and familiarity with protective gear is necessary.
