The Lead Janitor oversees the cleaning and maintenance of facilities to ensure a safe, sanitary, and welcoming environment. This role includes supervising janitorial staff, coordinating cleaning schedules, and performing hands-on cleaning duties. Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily activities of janitorial staff.
• Inspect work areas to ensure cleanliness standards are met.
• Train new custodial staff on cleaning procedures and safety protocols.
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment; request replenishments as needed.
• Perform routine cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and trash removal.
• Handle minor maintenance tasks (e.g., changing light bulbs, unclogging drains).
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Report building maintenance issues to the appropriate department.
• Assist with event setup and breakdown as needed
